Major bop alert! LA-based bedroom pop artist Caroline Renezeder just dropped her dreamy new single “Common Theme”.
The song serves as an ode to hopeless romanticism, and was co-produced by Caroline’s long-time collaborator Reef Boii, and Caroline herself!
“Some might say I’m a bit too trusting when it comes to love and 9 times out of 10, it has gotten me in trouble,” Caroline explains on the meaning behind the song. “Avoiding red flags and giving the wrong boys the benefit of the doubt has been a recurring theme in my life. In order to hammer the concept into my brain that I shouldn’t be doing that, I thought perhaps I’d write a song about it. So alas, here is my vibey, alternative message to myself that If I truly want to attain the sort of love I so desire, I need to break the common theme of my love life and stop going for guys that are all wrong for me.”
Caroline Renezeder has been making tunes since she was a child. In 2017, she collaborated with Grammy-Award nominated songwriter/producer Jason “Pooh Bear” Boyd for her debut single. After self-managing the release, she decided to launch her own indie record label and production company – now called Illuminate Creative Group! She has toured with artists such as KYLE, Marc E. Bassy, and Tobi Lou, hosted celebrity red carpets including The Critics Choice Awards, and continues to expand her empire.
The ambitious singer/songwriter has a lot to celebrate, and today, the release of “Common Theme” is definitely the occasion!
