Drax Project are a band based out of Wellington, New Zealand, and have quickly gained traction on an international scale. The four man band started off as buskers, as well as music students.
Just a few years later, Drax Project were opening up for Lorde at the Aukland stop on her Melodrama World Tour. The band also opened up for Ed Sheeran’s ÷ Tour in Aukland, and the European leg of Camila Cabello’s Never Be The Same Tour.
Recently, the guys performed at the Daytime Stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
The music video for Drax Project’s single “Woke Up Late” has raked up nearly a million views on YouTube. The quartet is also featured on rapper Famous Dex’s song “Light”.
The guys have been on a promo run over the last few weeks, and swung by Channel 933’s SDCCU Lounge today to play some songs and meet fans. Check out photos from their intimate performance below!
