A lovely Afternoon With Billie Eilish

San Diego’s ALT 949 had an exclusive Soundspace Session with New Music Discovery artist Billie Eilish today at the SDCCU Soundspace. My friends and I had the opportunity to attend the intimate performance this afternoon. Here’s how our experience went!

We arrived at the station and were some of the first people there. In total, there were at least 50 people there. We were let into the elevators and up to the floor Entercom is on in groups. No one was allowed to have purses, phones, or cameras.

My friends and I ended up getting front row seats! I’ve been to the SDCCU Soundspace quite a few times, but I’ve never seen it so crowded in my life! There were people sitting and standing everywhere, and it felt like we were at a taping for a tv special.

Being less than five feet away from an artist that you listen to every day is pretty incredible. I stared into Billie’s eyes, watched her move her hands, and let the music take my soul on a journey.

We also got to meet Billie after her performance! She was really nice, we hugged and danced and I’m not gonna lie, I was very close to giving her a kiss and I don’t even know why? Oh, those emotions 😂
