As a 20 year old, it is extremely frightening to know that the person who is supposed to be running our country has to be “fact checked” after he gives speeches, encourages his followers to follow in his footsteps and consider hateful words and actions “free speech”, devalues the rights and even the existence of minorities, and constantly attacks those who disagree with him.
It’s no secret that I despise Donald Trump and so many other members of this current administration. While I could go on and on all day long about what enrages me about the current administration, it’s also important for me to talk about solutions. Taking action begins with talking to people and listening. It starts within your own households and in your communities. Organizing individuals who are passionate about making change.
I invite all of you to participate in the 3rd Annual Women’s March in San Diego on Saturday, January 19 at the Waterfront Park in San Diego. Everyone is welcome to participate – no matter your age, race, ethnicity, sex, gender, abilities, sexual orientation, or religion. It all kicks off at 10AM.
Attendees can expect to hear inspiring speeches, musical performances, and so much more.
If you’re already stoked like I am, be sure to RSVP on Facebook. That way, the organizers can get a head count of who’s coming!

If you’d like to show your support financially, you can donate or purchase some cool merch! All proceeds from both will go towards funding the march.
Please note that Women’s March San Diego and Women’s March Inc. (national) are two completely separate groups.
If you are 18+ or will be on or before the next election day, you’re a US citizen, and you’re not in prison or on parole for a felony conviction, you can register to vote! You can register to vote in the state of California here, or even at the Women’s March!
