None of these artists messed around with their releases this week, and neither should I. Let’s just dive right into it, shall we?
Simple Creatures – Strange Love

All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth and blink-182’s Mark Hoppus recently teamed up to launch a new side project called Simple Creatures. Their EP ‘Strange Love’ is finally here, and it’s packed with powerful, upbeat tracks that are simply irresistible.
In a statement, Gaskarth said “Strange Love is the proverbial foot-kicking-down-the-door to the house of Simple Creatures. We picked these songs to represent everything that this project is about, to defy expectations and to showcase the stylistic choices we set out to make from it’s inception. The approach to writing was, ‘whatever makes us feel like we’re way outside of our comfort zone.’ We weren’t afraid to push each other and strive to get stranger.”

Billie Eilish – When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Billie Eilish’s highly anticipated debut album is here! When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? has taken the internet by storm today. Listeners are invited to take a journey inside the 17 year-old’s mind.
The album is everything you wouldn’t expect from a pop star – it’s dark, twisted, eerie, and so delightful. Billie’s voice brings a certain level of intimacy to everything she’s a part of, and everything that makes Billie… Billie, definitely comes together on When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Dillon Francis – Change Your Mind

EDM hitmaker Dillon Francis has teamed up with lovelytheband for his latest single titled ‘Change Your Mind’. It’s a fresh, lively track that definitely helps set the mood for the spring and Dillon’s upcoming festival appearances – including a slot at Coachella next month.

The Chainsmokers – Kills You Slowly

The Chainsmokers are taking things a little slower with their new single ‘Kills You Slowly’. This is the second single from the EDM/pop duo’s forthcoming World War Joy album, set for release later this year. ‘Kills You Slowly’ is about a couple fighting and trying to save their relationship, while trying to put on a fake persona to make it seem like everything is okay and hold in any disagreements and bitter feelings at the sake of pleasing others.
‘Kills You Slowly’ follows up on the duo’s hit collaboration with 5 Seconds of Summer, ‘Who Do You Love’. The track is much calmer, and Drew Taggart’s vocals are definitely given the time to shine.

Kevin McHale – Help Me Now

‘Help Me Now’ is former Glee star Kevin McHale’s debut single! (It’s certainly a bop, isn’t it?) This is definitely one of my new favorite songs, and I think a bunch of you will agree with me.
Here’s what Kevin had to say on ‘Help Me Now’…
“‘Help Me Now’ is meant to be tongue & cheek, I think it reflects my personality because it’s super self-deprecating and honest and doesn’t take itself too seriously.”

FEVER DAYS – I See Through It

Fever Days are a four member indie band from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The group’s second single ‘I See Through It’ is a groovy track that you can definitely swing your hips to! (Well, whether *you* actually do it or not, I definitely did and will continue to.)
