Germano Blanco is a Brazilian-born indie pop/electro artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Germano grew up listening to his mom, a pianist, play the instrument. When he was 6-years-old, he began to play the piano himself and write songs. At 15, he moved to LA, and began to showcase his talents on social media! He has uploaded tons of amazing covers of today’s hottest songs on his YouTube channel.
Germano has just released his debut single “Lost Crowd”, a song he wrote about being unsure about the future, but finding comfort knowing you’re not the only one with those feelings. Part of the reason why I love this song so much is because of the fact that I, too, have those feelings. Having everything evolve around you so quickly can be overwhelming, especially as a young adult. Germano also has a very soothing voice that makes listening to his music comforting.

Germano describes his music as “coming-of-age pop”, and his upcoming debut EP will feature tracks that tackle topics such as anxiety, depression, heartbreak, drinking, and feeling like an outcast. Every song on the EP has been written by Germano himself! I’m definitely excited to hear what’s next from Germano.
