21-year-old Aria Ohlsson is a singer/songwriter to be reckoned with. Aria was born and raised in Toronto, and has been inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse, John Mayer, and Lorde.

After losing her mother at the age of 12, Aria Ohlsson found a way to translate her sadness and grief through her music. Aria released her debut single “Heaven” this past May as a tribute to her mother. The track received nods from various media outlets and landed her the title of Apple Music’s New Artist Of The Week back in June.

Aria’s new single “Twenty” is out now, and speaks on the pains of growing up into a young adult. Produced by Aria’s favorite collaborator Jay Century and a songwriting contribution from Montreal duo Heartbeat, “Twenty” is a heartfelt track that truly encompasses many of the emotions one feels growing up – especially in this generation.

Aria’s warm, soulful vocals add an extra layer of validation to a song that many listeners will feel they can relate to in one way or another.
