Chill indie vibes. Those three words encompass pretty much everything I could ask for when I’m looking for new music, and that’s exactly what comes to mind when I listen to Close Talker!
Close Talker are an indie rock band from Saskatoon, Canada – made up of childhood friends Will Quiring, Matthew Kopperud, and Christopher Morien. They originated in 2012, and became a trio in the summer of 2015.
The group has had numerous tours throughout North America and Europe, and have caught the eyes and ears of talent buyers and outlets such as NPR, Billboard, and more.
Their latest album How Do We Stay Here? was self-produced, and is a testament to the band’s integrity. They hoped the songs would carry the same meaning in 10 years that they hold today… and once you give it a listen, I think you’ll agree that they certainly will!
