Fever Joy are an alt-pop duo based in Los Angeles, consisting of members Avery Robitaille and Sean Baker.
Avery is a singer/songwriter who was found singing into tape recorders from the very young age of three. She grew up in the jungles of Indonesia as a missionary kid, and dreamed of touring the world. When she turned 18, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her goals!
While Avery was performing at an open mic night, she met Sean and the two instantly clicked – and now they’re out on a mission to encourage others to stand up for what they believe in, no matter what others may think. Through their music, Fever Joy hope to convey this message and empower their listeners.
Sean says, “Music is one of the only things that allows us to see into other people’s experiences from a distance and connect with them. With that insight, and connection we can learn to be more understanding and helpful with each others circumstances”.
Fever Joy have sold out shows all throughout LA, and have performed at SXSW. Their music has been played on KCRW and KROQ, and their debut EP Reflections is set for release on November 15!
Fever Joy’s music has this satisfying, gritty feel to it that I’ve fallen in love with. Their track “R.Y.W.B.” makes me imagine myself walking down Sunset Blvd wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses and being invincible.
