If there’s one thing I’ve realized over the past few weeks, it’s this – if someone’s not happy for me, they can get lost.
The way I word things might sound a tad bit harsh at times though. Luckily for me, Laura Dreyfuss has channeled all my feelings into her new single “Sidelines”.
The award winning singer, songwriter, and actress has been a part of Glee, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Netflix’s The Politician, and the Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen. Dreyfuss has raked in over a million streams on Spotify, and is currently working on her full-length debut album!
“Sidelines” is an uplifting bop, featuring a bouncy synth-filled beat and Dreyfuss’ powerful vocals.
“This song is about finding your voice in an unsupportive relationship, says Dreyfuss. “It’s my way of telling someone that their negativity won’t stop me from celebrating who I am and what I’ve accomplished.”
