Halifax-based duo Neon Dreams have returned with a fresh new single called “Walk Away”, and a music video as well!
“We’ve been reminiscing over late 90s/early 2000s lately, and I remember I was obsessing over the chords the day before I brought them into the session from this old Kid Cudi song I heard when I was a kid it was called ‘Up Up And Away,’” says vocalist Frank Kadillac. “For some reason ‘Walk Away’ turned out to sound like an MGMT song when we dove into it with the drums, especially after my friend Nathan Ferraro started belting out that wild, anthemic melody…it was perfect.”
Neon Dreams spent their first few years together experimenting with their sound. After frontman Frank Kadillac went to a healing retreat in Arizona, he realized the power he holds as a songwriter, and his ability to help others through music.
