“Nicknames” is the fresh new track from Canadian pop band Walk Off the Earth and gnash!
“Nicknames” may be about the price one pays with being out of a relationship, but it never sounded so good until now!
Walk Off the Earth shares, “We’ve all been in that relationship where you and your ex share the same social circle. Running into them at a bar, a friend’s house, etc. It’s an awkward and confusing time and it brings back so many mixed feelings. We wanted to write a song that captured those emotions.”
2020 has been an incredible year for Walk Off the Earth. Earlier this year, the band based right outside of Toronto earned two major JUNO Award nominations for Group of the Year and Pop Album of the Year. Walk Off the Earth have played to sold out crowds across the globe at venues like Red Rocks, the Sydney Opera House, Wembley, and that’s just the start! They have also collaborated with artists such as Keith Urban, Snoop Dogg, Nicky Romero, and Steve Aoki.
With over a billion YouTube views, nearly 8 million followers on social media, and having sold over 1 million records worldwide, there’s no slowing down Walk Off the Earth!
