Has your imagination been running wild over the last few weeks? Well, it looks like Knox Hamilton can answer YES to that… in fact, it’s been running “WiLD”.
Knox Hamilton are an Arkansas-based indie trio consisting of brothers Boots and Cobo Copeland, and longtime buddy Drew Buffington. Their humble beginnings can be traced to a small thrift store, where Boots and Cobo volunteered during their summer breaks. One day, they stumbled upon an old yearbook from the ’70s, and found a picture of what Boots referred to as “one of the most rock ‘n’ roll dudes I have ever seen”. His name was Knox Hamilton, and the brothers decided to name their musical group after him!
Their music has led them to perform on nationwide tours with bands such as Grizfolk, Colony House, Milky Chance, The Hunna, and more. They have also performed at festivals like Hangout Fest, Firefly, Bonnaroo, LouFest, Bottle Rock, and Forecastle.
Knox Hamilton’s playful nature really comes to life in the music video for their latest single “WiLD”. The trio dress up in fun masks, Tyvek suits, and goggles. Also, we get to see how fun it must be to play tennis while being chased by dinosaurs and unicorns!
