PRIZM are constantly proving themselves to be the retro-pop duo everyone should know… and guess what? They’re doing it again with their brand new single “You Should Know”!
“You Should Know” is PRIZM’s second single of 2020, following their dreamy track “Move Me”.
“A few months back we made a playlist of tracks we were vibing with. We were looking for future inspiration and what we could work into the PRIZM sound,” the duo explains. “These funk and indie pop elements kept jumping out at us and we all thought that would be a lot of fun. So we wrote a song…and then of course scrapped 98% of it and started over. The result was ‘You Should Know.’ It’s a carefree anthem about a friend who always knows how to have a good time, and how you just wanna be down with whatever they have going on. Like most of our records, we really just want it to be part of your go-out-and-have-a-good-time soundtrack (whenever you’re done sheltering in place in your living room or den or something).”
Danni James and Krisluv are PRIZM. In 2019, the duo released their debut EP and quickly caught the attention of the synthwave world. With such silky smooth production and bubbly vocals poured into each of their songs, what’s not to love about PRIZM?!
