Earlier today, Katy Perry took to social media to make a huge announcement. Next Friday (May 15), she’ll be releasing her brand new single “Daisies”, which will be the first track off her brand new album!

Katy also made a very important point – “The music must go on.”

Many artists have delayed their album release cycles, while others are continuing to release brand new tunes. It can be a tough call for some, but one thing is for sure – the music has not stopped, and it can’t stop.
It’s been three years since Katy released her last album, Witness. Fans have been speculating nonstop when the new era would begin, and now they’re speculating that “Daisies” could also be a collaboration with Taylor Swift!
