Secret Number is a K-Pop girl group from Vine Entertainment that just made their debut last week. Talk about a VERY fresh squeeze!
The group consists of five members – Léa, Dita, Jinny, Soodam, and Denise. Jinny and Denise were born in the US, and trained under YG Entertainment (home of BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, and more). Léa is from Japan, and Soodam is from South Korea. Dita is from Indonesia, and spent time training in New York. She eventually moved to South Korea, and developed her dancing skills at the famed 1MILLION Dance Studio. Dita is the first Indonesian to debut in a K-Pop girl group!
Secret Number were originally supposed to debut in late March. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their debut was pushed to May 19. That being said, last Tuesday the group unveiled their first single “Who Dis?” – a funky, urban dance track!
“Who Dis?” was produced by Melanie Fontana and Michel ‘Lindgren’ Schulz, who have previously penned songs for artists like BTS, Dua Lipa, Everglow, Justin Bieber, Tomorrow X Together, and many more.
