Georgia Ku has written songs for artists such as Martin Garrix, Zedd, Rita Ora, Fifth Harmony, Skrillex, Kiiara, and many more! Today, she just released an empowering new single titled “Lighthouse”.
“Lighthouse” follows Ku’s previous singles “What Do I Do?” and “Ever Really Know.”
“For me, ‘Lighthouse’ is about being in love with someone struggling with mental health issues and the intense but vital learning process I went through in order to be there for them despite feeling powerless over the situation,” says Ku. “I hope this song resonates with anyone trying to be someone else’s light during these dark times.”
Georgia Ku grew up in Northern England, and relocated to LA when she was 20 years old on a one way ticket. The move involved tons of work and persistence, but it all surely paid off! She landed her first placement by co-writing “Illusion” feat. Echosmith, which is a part of Zedd’s 2015 album True Colors. And that was only the beginning…
