One of the great things about music is being able to hear the artist’s most personal stories come to live. Some artists will turn their darkest, deepest secrets into vivid symphonies, and ROSA is one of them!
ROSA, aka Roger William Saro, was born and raised in Amsterdam. Although he suffered from depression since an early age, he decided to not let his condition get the best of him and turned his feelings and experiences into art.
His new single “BLOW” touches on his personal battles with mental health, depression, and drug abuse. The story follows a man who is coming to terms with his drug problem, as well as the root of the problem – depression. “BLOW” was written, composed, produced, and arranged by ROSA, alongside Joveek Murphy and Axe Hessel, ROSA’s main guitarist. The music video for “BLOW” makes the story even more epic, and is proof that pain can be turned into power!
