Moontower is an indie-electronic band brightening up the world with their vibrant sound and performances. Members Tom and Devan met during their first week at USC, both being in the music program. They soon met Jacob, and the three started working on music together. The band’s formation came naturally, and in a short time span, Moontower went from playing underground college parties to opening up for artists Bad Suns, YUNGBLUD, MAGIC GIANT, and more!
In May 2019, Moontower released their debut EP Season 1: The Ballad of William Hollywood. Just three months later, the trio made their festival debut at Reading and Leeds in the UK.
This summer, Moontower was scheduled to hit the road and go on tour. While the pandemic may have called for a change of plans, it certainly didn’t stop the band from planning to give their fans a live music experience to remember. Starting on July 5, Moontower will be embarking on their “What Day Is It?” virtual tour, presented by Bandsintown. Working closely with their production manager, Moontower will be bringing fans four live performances featuring various interactive elements. There will be special guests as well! Moontower has been very vocal in the fight for gun control, as well as other social issues. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to the National Independent Venue Association, as well as Know Your Rights Camp!
