New Katy Perry music today? Yup, that’s definitely a reason to smile!
Today, Katy released her brand new single “Smile,” which is the title track of her forthcoming album. This groovy song finds Katy showing gratitude for the challenging times that eventually helped her become stronger than ever.
“I wrote this song when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life,” says Katy. “When I listen to it now, it’s a great reminder that I made it through. It’s three minutes of energizing hopefulness.”
Earlier today, Katy revealed the album cover on social media and a snippet of the title track. Fans were asked to help unlock the artwork by playing a virtual balloon pop game.
