What is a Goddess, exactly? Well, allow Nikitaa to show you!
Nikitaa is a singer and songwriter who combines Pop and R&B elements to create what she refers to as “Goddess Pop.” Born and raised in Mumbai, and has spent the past few years in LA perfecting her craft. Her music also gives subtle nods to South Asian soundscapes. Her new single “Goddess” is a step into her brain, and it’s time to enter.
“‘Goddess’ was written as a sort of official introduction to my entire brand, and what I’m truly about as an artist,” Nikitaa explains. “I wanted to write a song about who a Goddess is, and what she commands from those who wish to be in her life. A Goddess is fierce, a Goddess is multidimensional, a Goddess demands truth and devotion, a Goddess asks for a person who will put in the effort! These demands are clearly set out in the song.”
Nikitaa’s first two singles, “Honest” and “Exodus,” have received almost half a million streams on Spotify and placement on Spotify’s Fresh Finds. Her first Punjabi single “Vichoda Yaar Da” was met with great critical acclaim in India, and the music video has been viewed over a million times on YouTube. Nikitaa’s music has also been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists.
As Nikitaa continues to defy expectations, stereotypes, and take over the world, she plans on releasing more songs throughout the remainder of the year!
