Jeremy Zucker Curates A Vibe With ‘supercuts’

Jeremy Zucker’s new single “supercuts” is 1000% worthy of being the soundtrack to your socially distant summer drives. (Okay honestly, if I had a convertible, that would be even more cool!)

Jeremy co-wrote and co-produced “supercuts” last year with Max Martin’s MXM camp in Stockholm. In the song, he gets candid about being in a relationship destined to fail.

‘supercuts’ is about the fear of being complacent and ending up where you started, which for me was a small town in the suburbs of New Jersey,” Jeremy explains. “The idea of seeing your ex’s mom at the Supercuts in the mall is really just the most sarcastically exaggerated way of portraying that life, to me. Despite being a more upbeat record, there is this sarcastic, self-loathing tone behind my performance. It’s quite fun.

Back in 2015, Jeremy Zucker released his first EP as a freshman at Colorado College, as he pursued a degree in molecular biology. By 2017, he signed a deal with Republic Records, and since then he has released four EP’s! His debut album love is not dying arrived earlier this spring, and has received over 2 billion global streams to this date.

Jeremy had been waiting for the right moment to release “supercuts,” and this song just feels like the perfect vibe for right now. I hope you’ll agree! Check it out below.
