Mai Kino’s debut EP Dopamine is finally here!
Dopamine is a collection of tracks that essentially capture different feelings Mai Kino has experienced throughout her life – from feeling disconnected to experiencing new life. The title track “Dopamine” speaks of the daily struggle that is the pursuit of happiness.
She elaborates by saying, “‘Dopamine’ is about complicated internal states and wanting to escape them. ‘Like an angel you take me so warm and so serene’ can mean death, a drug or a lover, but it also speaks of spiritual transcendence.”
Mai Kino was born and raised in Lisbon, and always dreamed of performing at the best venues around. She moved to London, having a background of art and dance under her belt. Listeners have been anticipating Dopamine for quite some time, and the EP will yield an enriching experience for all of your senses!
