The world might seem like it’s falling apart, but it keeps on turning… and Bryce Vine’s new single “Life Goes On” is here to offer you some comfort!

“Life Goes On” was written in the days after Kobe Bryant passed away, and is Bryce’s attempt at piecing things back together after realizing just how unpredictable this world can be. Bryce wrote the song alongside longtime collaborators Sir Nolan and JP Clark.

“Kobe was almost like a superhero, especially for black kids,” he says. “I thought the reward for that would be more, so it really shook my faith in good individuals getting what they deserve. After two days, I was going through it. I vented on ‘Life Goes On.’ I said things that made me feel better in the moment about the situation. When I listen to it, it still makes me feel better.”

“Life Goes On” will be featured on Bryce’s upcoming EP Problems, out on August 21! Problems will be a collection of some of his deepest thoughts, and of course full of great vibes. Bryce says, “It’s what I do. I never want to make the same song twice. A lot of this music was inspired while I was sitting by myself in my room during quarantine with nothing else to do but get better at guitar. That’s how I wrote as a kid in the living room or in my garage. It was a return to that.”
