The Driver Era has been rolling out tons of new music this year, and their catalog grows even bigger today with their brand new single “Places.”
“Places” was written, produced, and recorded by Rocky Lynch while Ross was in Vancouver filming Sabrina. The idea for the song sprouted while Rocky was in the car on the way to see his girlfriend!
“It’s weird because I typically write songs about past relationships and experiences,” Rocky admitted. “But this time, it was about a current relationship.. it was a really weird feeling.”
Since The Driver Era made their debut in 2018 with “Preacher Man,” they’ve been writing and producing every single one of their tracks by themselves. Even if Ross is away filming, the brothers always manage to make things work! “Places” is the fourth single from The Driver Era this year, following “Take Me Away” and their double release “OMG Plz Don’t Come Around”/”flashdrive.”
If you really want to go places with The Driver Era, last month Ross and Rocky announced their rescheduled tour dates. The Driver Era World Tour will now kick off in New York on January 25, 2021. For more info, visit thedriverera.com/tours.
