TREASURE is a brand new boy group from YG Entertainment, and is the company’s first new group since BLACKPINK’s debut in 2016. TREASURE was stitched together through YG’s survival show YG Treasure Box, and consists of twelve members. After a little over a year of waiting, TREASURE finally made their debut this past Friday with their single “BOY” and B-side “COME TO ME.” The single album THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE has received over 170,000 stock pre-orders, which is the highest number of pre-orders ever for a YG rookie! TREASURE also became the fastest K-Pop rookie group to enter Billboard’s Social 50 chart.
This is the beginning of an amazing journey for members Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan! Don’t sleep on these guys – and honestly, “BOY” has enough energy to keep you awake and dancing all night long.
