Miss Miley is here, y’all… and I hope you’re here for it!
Today, Miley Cyrus released her new single “Midnight Sky,” which is filled with gorgeous disco-inspired beats. The song was inspired by the past year of Miley’s life, and reminds everyone that she’s basically a boss and doesn’t need validation from others, especially past lovers, in order to get by.
We can all say amen to that!
The music video was directed by Miley herself, and was inspired by female musical icons like Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, and Debbie Harry. Miley treats us to fun scenes, including her laying on a ton of gum balls, being surrounded by mirrors, inflatable zoo animals and disco balls, all while she’s just being Miley.
