Sometimes life can go up and down like the flip of a light switch… so Bryan Bailey wrote a song about it!
Bryan Bailey is a 29 year old singer/songwriter from Maine. Bryan got started making music as a teen, but didn’t see it as a potential career until 2017. Since them, Bryan has released several singles and an EP, and now his latest single “Lightswitch” is out for everyone to enjoy!
“Lightswitch” is a song about an unpredictable relationship that Bryan was in a few years back. No matter how hard him and his partner tried to make things work, it seemed like things went up and down… kind of like a light switch.
Speaking on how “Lightswitch” was brought to life, Bryan shared, “I wrote the song last summer with my producer Alex (aka wvntd – he’s a super talented electronic producer) I was looking for a summer vibe with some big 80s synths and he nailed it! I was in the studio before a show and I had a few minutes to spare so I just put the beat on and immediately came up with hook. From there I just dug deep into my feels haha and the verses wrote themselves.”
Bryan is currently working on his second EP, which will be out next year. He’s also prepping to work on his debut album, and rolling out some more singles this year. Stay tuned!
