Tonight, BTS performed their No. 1 hit single “Dynamite” on the “America’s Got Talent” semifinals results show, and it was nothing short of spectacular!
Due to COVID-19, many aspects of the show were done remotely. Some contestants were present to learn their fate in the competition via video chat. Rather than having an in-person crowd, there was a large virtual audience… and even more fans following along on Twitter! #BTSonAGT has been a Worldwide trending topic all evening.
BTS’ explosive performance was shot at the Everland amusement park in South Korea, and it was just so damn epic. Let’s take a moment to talk about it, shall we?
The performance kicked off with Jungkook dancing on the “AGT” judges table in the middle of the park. His curly locks were also on full display, and uh… hold up, I need a second to swoon again.
If that managed to make your heart race, that was only the beginning!
The camera panned to RM doing his thing on the roof of a gas station, just being “as sweet as honey.” How did he manage to get down from there so quickly to dance with the rest of the guys for the chorus? I DON’T KNOW. But what I do know is this.
V swiftly entered a car during his verse, with RM in the back seat. Personally, I thought that was an awesome move, and it also had me wondering… if I were in a car with V and RM, who would I trust with the aux? Or in this case with a car like this, the cassette player?
When Suga jumped off of the car, the license plate number was revealed. “BTS – 0613” is a pretty cool tag to have, am I right?
It’s the little details that matter, and this performance was full of them. Signs in the background, sparklers, and so much more. I also loved how the guys wore the same outfits from the music video! Everything was planned out to the dime with this one, and it’s definitely a performance that ARMYs will be talking about for ages. The bar is already in heaven, and somehow BTS will manage to raise it even higher.
Check it out below, and keep blasting “Dynamite” on your favorite streaming services!
