Pretty much everyone strives to be the best version of themselves possible. Sometimes, that involves taking some time to look back upon our lives and see how far we’ve come. While you’re soul searching, Sarah Barrios just released her new single “Somebody I’m Proud Of” – and it’s the perfect track for the mood.
Sarah says of her new song, “I think everyone at some point in their lives questions who they are and how they’ve changed since their youth, but I’m finding that no one is always the hero or always the villain in their story, sometimes we’re both and that’s okay.”
The singer/songwriter hailing from Connecticut has had a fantastic 2020 so far! Earlier this year, Sarah released her debut single “I Didn’t Mean To,” which paved the way for her first EP Letters I Never Sent. Sarah was originally writing hits for other artists, but then decided to start writing her own for herself. In such a short amount of time, she’s proven herself to be one to watch. And of course, it’s safe to say Sarah has lots to be proud of!
