Each of Tate McRae’s releases continue to get bigger and bigger, and today the rising singer/songwriter/dancer teamed up with Ali Gate for her newest offering, “Lie To Me.”
“Working with Ali was a really amazing experience,” Tate says. “I’ve always loved his music so I’m super stoked to finally release this collaboration. We wrote the whole thing over FaceTime, in quarantine!! It was crazy.”
Tate also released the music video for “Lie To Me,” which was directed by The Kid Studio and recorded in the new Calgary Central Library. Check it out below!
Be sure to tune into Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 21st to see Tate perform her April release “you broke me first.” This will be her late night television debut! “you broke me first” continues to rise, and has now reached 300 million streams. The track is also climbing the Top 40 Radio chart, and has landed Tate a Top 10 spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart.
