A Venture Into Chaz Cardigan’s ‘Holograma’

One can argue that this world is so cold… I mean, look at everything going on around us! Then, another person may argue that the world keeps getting warmer. The back and forth begins, and just like these two individuals, our own brains might be going back and forth over so many different things as life feels like it drags on due to our new norm.

It’s time for an escape from it all, and Chaz Cardigan is ready to give you one with his vibrant new EP Holograma. Much of the EP was written in the midst of some major changes in Chaz’s life – getting signed, the back and forths to LA, being on the road, new relationships and changes in dynamics of existing ones, and so much more. Overall, Chaz wanted to try to capture the shifting of narratives.

Holograma features Chaz’s previous singles “Everything’s Wrong,” “Middle Of The Road,” and “Room.” From start to finish, Holograma feels like a race through a bright musical dimension that (I totally don’t want to leave.)

But once you come back to earth, you’ll be reminded that this EP will be here for you during your good days, and your bad days too. Even when you feel like you’re so overwhelmed, scrambling as if a meteor is about to hit the earth and you see it coming. Even when you feel like there’s no words to describe your feelings. Even if the zombie apocalypse were to hit, Holograma will still be here for you!

“The whole EP is pretty much about flipping perspectives,” Chaz shared. “It’s all about context for things, changing, and re-contextualizing your ideas and your perspectives on things. ‘Change Your Mind’ is a super fun song, but I don’t know, something about it just screams, yeah, ironically this is a good zombie apocalypse song.”

“Kamikaze” stans rise.
