Will Hyde Shares Heartfelt Debut EP ‘with u in mind.’

2020 has been Will Hyde‘s breakout year! After releasing his debut solo single “easy for u.” in June and three more hit singles, Will is ready to light up the musical landscape even more with his new EP with u in mind.

At only 21 years of age, Will has been keeping it as real as possible with his music. His previous singles “easy for u.”, “meant to be.”, “over u.”, and “dark until september.” have all showcased his stellar songwriting skills, and led listeners on a journey through the ups and downs of being in a relationship. with u in mind. includes all of the above, as well as two new tracks! “too close for love” explores the negotiations we make between ourselves and our relationships, and “misfit” serves as a shout out to those (often dreaded) feelings of loneliness.

In his own words, Will says the EP “summarizes a lot of emotions over the body of work. it’s sort of scattered sonically yet tied together with the same umbrella of emotions i was feeling – hurt, rejection, shame, love, connection, hope.”

“‘with u in mind’ feels like a snapshot in time for me, Will continues. “i love the fact that i can revisit these songs & listen to them as a diary entry/chapter from a different part of my life. the thing i love about the world is that everything is constantly changing, my situation now is not my situation tomorrow. knowing i can use these songs as a reference point for getting thru obstacles i will surely face in the future, makes me feel grateful.”
