The past can be a spooky thing to look back upon, but Melanie Pierce is helping us keep our heads forward with her new single “Your Grave.”
Melanie Pierce is a singer/songwriter from Michigan who has been at it for as long as she can recall. Growing up in a small town, Melanie often felt the pressure of having to fit into the mold of the everyday life there. Her parents disapproved of her music career at first, but she managed to break free from it all and release her own music starting in 2019.
Melanie simply wants to inspire others to chase after their dreams, overcome their challenges, and be their true selves – all through her music. After all, it’s what has been been there for her all along!
“Your Grave is about saying goodbye and turning the page,” Melanie says. “There is so much clarity in the moment you begin to move on, and as dark and angry as it can be, there is so much light in those moments. To walk away from something that isn’t meant for you is bold, and powerful, and cathartic. I love writing and singing from those deep places.”
“Your Grave” is Melanie’s third single release of 2020, and will have an official music video on the way soon. You won’t want to miss it!
