We could all use a tender reminder that we’re not alone, and Gavin James has you covered today with his new single “Man On The Moon.”
Hailing from Dublin, Gavin James has truly proved all of the haters and nay-sayers wrong. Gavin grew up surrounded by music, and got his start by playing in a rock band when he was eight. After the group disbanded, Gavin continued to play his own solo shows. Although met with backlash over his career aspirations in school, Gavin never gave up.
Gavin James went on to play shows with Niall Horan, Sam Smith, and Ed Sheeran. He also sold out his own world tour, including Dublin’s 3Arena. Gavin currently has 22 Platinum records under his belt, and “Man On The Moon” is his next step towards world domination.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Gavin dished “For ‘Man On The Moon’ I tried to picture someone on the moon, thinking that they are all alone and not realising that the whole world is thinking about them. It’s about looking after the people you love because some days, they may feel like they have no one to talk to. In particular this year, people might feel more disconnected than usual from their friends and family. This song is a gentle reminder that you are never alone”.
