Zoe Wees Returns With A Song For ‘Girls Like Us’

Feeling the need to conform to society’s standards can be a lot of pressure, especially in this digital age. There’s so much pressure these days to look a certain way, act a certain way, and even live a certain way. Quite frankly, it can be challenging to even just “be yourself” when many of the people upholding said standards tell others to do just that.

(Me personally, I’ve always felt like an outcast. I was never athletic, not one to go to parties, and the list of things that don’t interest me is a billion times longer than the list of things that do. It’s always been a struggle to make and keep friends, and I wake up almost every day asking myself what I’m doing with my life.)

It’s rough out there, and that’s no secret. But today, Zoe Wees is back with “Girls Like Us,” a song to remind us of just how strong we are!

If there’s an artist you’ll want to keep your eyes on in 2021, it’s definitely Zoe Wees. The eighteen-year-old powerhouse vocalist from Germany took the world by storm last year with the release of her debut solo single “Control.” The powerful ballad has received over 270 million combined global streams, entered the top 20 at Pop radio in the US, and has already received Gold certification in five countries.

Zoe is making music that not only speaks her truth, but can help uplift us all. She says, “For me, it was the hardest feeling to grow up in a world that you feel doesn’t accept you. We all have insecurities, but this is what makes us beautiful.”
