Money might not be able to buy happiness, but BAD CHILD’s new single “$1,000,000” can surely win you over!
Growing up, BAD CHILD would create beats on his father’s old Hewlett Packard computer. However, it wasn’t until the loss of his mother when he began to sing. Making music was BAD CHILD’s way of unpacking his emotions and making sense of the world. In 2019, he released his debut EP Sign Up, and soon became one of Canada’s most promising up and coming artists.
Nothing can replace the human connection, and BAD CHILD’s raw vocals will make you feel like he’s singing just to you every single time. He had a very specific idea in mind for “$1,000,000,” stating that he wanted the track to have the sound and feel of “a corner store lottery.” He explained, “When I was a child I would go with my grandmother and pick-up scratch tickets and she would always say we would win big. The song is about love conquering everything – everything pales in comparison.”
BAD CHILD also has an album on the way! On February 26, he’ll be releasing his debut LP Free Trial. Pre-save it here. The 19-track project will feature previously released tracks, six new ones, and “$1,000,000” of course.
