There’s certain things in life that can help you get by. We can all think of a few, but what if they could communicate with you verbally? Alex Few ponders upon that question today with his new single “Something To Hold On To.”
From a very early age, Alex Frew has used music as a way to capture his emotions. For example, he started playing the piano when he was six, the guitar at nine, and even writing his own song at fifteen. Needless to say, Alex has been at it for quite some time! Growing up in Toronto, Alex’s peers would be occupied with hockey tryouts and applying to universities. Meanwhile, Alex decided to just focus on music and perfect his craft.
Last year, Alex made his grand debut on Warner Music Canada with “Get Out Alive.” He plans on releasing his debut EP very soon, which will also feature “Something To Hold On To.” Alex confessed, “This is a view point that I have always wanted to explore in my songwriting. It’s asking: ‘If my addictions had the ability to speak, what would they say?’ This song is a way in which I can navigate that perspective.”
