Jack Conway Shares A Story Of Resilience In New Single ‘Calluses’

Music can truly help heal many wounds, and Jack Conway is hoping his latest single “Calluses” will do just that.

It’s been a crazy… just about 365 days… and Jack Conway is well aware of it. Everyone has felt the effects of the pandemic in one way or another, and many people have let their creative juices flow like never before during this time as a way to cope. Throughout 2020, Jack released a series of singles, all capturing snapshots of different moments in his life. He’s also used the time to sharpen his production skills, and admitted that it has “allowed me to put the entire soundscape of songs together, rather than just a more acoustic-type version.”

While we may not be out of the woods just yet, Jack is keeping his spirits high by finding a balance between music and other activities. He’s found motivation in setting new goals, and keeping family and friends in mind. Jack wants to offer you a little motivation too, and “Calluses” serves as a reminder of the power that you hold within.

“’Calluses’ is the most personal track I’ve ever written,” Jack confessed. “It was inspired by David Goggins, who talks about callusing your mind, just like how you can ‘callus’ your hands – usually from rock climbing or weight-lifting. Calluses are formed through challenging experiences, but they make you a stronger person allowing you to go farther in life.”

Jack wants listeners to realize that brokenness is not a sign of weakness. He shared, “I want people to bet on themselves & know you are capable & able of anything, so long as you dedicate yourself to more.”
