goodboy noah’s new single “tie down” will have a similar effect on your soul. The So Cal-based R&B singer and songwriter is on a mission to brighten everyone’s days with his smooth sound and vibrant personality. He says, “I want people to see that you don’t have to take yourself too seriously in this life, it’s heavy enough as it is, so I want to make things a little lighter.”
Basically, noah’s just enjoying the ride.
“tie down” was co-written by noah, Dan Henig (ZAYN, Noah Cyrus, Chelsea Cutler) and Micah Gordon (Cautious Clay, Neon Trees). noah revealed that the track is all about “finding someone that you think could be the one, not just a partner, but a partner in crime.” A ride-or-die for life.
“I challenged myself to write a love song without using the word ‘love,’ and this is what came out,” says noah. “I brought the demo to Micah Gordon to produce it, and when he played the strings for the outro on his Nord keyboard I started freaking out because it was exactly how I thought the song was supposed to feel.”
