Nick Isham has written over 1,000 songs throughout his music career, and now he’s ready to introduce the world to two new ones!

Nick’s love for music runs as deep as the ocean, and has for quite a while. Being the son of a jazz musician and TV/film composer, Nick was introduced to a wide array of genres at a young age. He also participated in several musical theater productions, and played the trumpet in his middle school’s band.

However, it wasn’t until college when Nick fully immersed himself in the music world. Nick was a football player, and was very dedicated to his sport. Over time, he began to teach himself how to play the guitar, and started writing songs. This eventually led to a very natural shift in priorities, and Nick dedicated his days to making music full time!

Prior to the pandemic, Nick could be seen gracing some of Los Angeles’ most iconic stages. He’s performed at venues such as The Troubadour, The Mint, and The Viper Room. When it’s safe to gather for shows again, there’s a good chance you’ll hear Nick play his newest offerings, “Burned Out” and “Just Do It.”

Both tracks were written and produced by Nick himself, and cover two polar opposite scenarios in a relationship’s lifespan. “Just Do It” was written two days before asking his girlfriend to be official. He says, “We were best friends for a year. We were laying together, and I turned to her and said, ‘I really want to kiss you.’. She then said, ‘Well then, just do it.”

Then there’s “Burned Out,” which Nick says was written “about a past relationship that ended right after the 4th of July. I walked into the session with the line ‘Like a firework on the 5th of July.'”
