There’s so many things in life that are truly easier said than done. For example, not reaching for that last slice of pizza. Lord knows how many times I told myself I wouldn’t, and ended up doing the exact opposite.
But what about those days when you’re just struggling to “hang in there,” as everyone has told you to do? That in itself can be so much easier said than done, almost to the point where the phrase can seem empty. Life can be overflowing with challenges, and sometimes you just need someone to hear you out. Dreamer Boy understands, which is why he’s sharing his new single “Easier Said Than Done” with the world today!
Zach Taylor has been releasing tons of euphoric tunes under the moniker Dreamer Boy since 2018. On April 22, he’ll be rolling out his second full-length album All The Ways We Are Together. One of Dreamer Boy’s goals is to be able to unite people from all different backgrounds through his music. He hopes that his forthcoming project will do just that.
Writing a song in itself, and making an entire album can be much easier said than done too. Dreamer Boy says that “Easier Said Than Done” was written when he was “at a low point,” but served as a reminder that he is not alone by any means.
“The song is written and the song represents the voice of a friend who is helping you through a hard time,” he explains. “We have to lean on one another in this life and remind each other who we are and what matters. I needed to be reminded I couldn’t hold the weight on my own shoulders, and that having friends to help bear our burdens is a beautiful part of life.”
For the music video, Dreamer Boy wanted to highlight his friends who have helped him all throughout the year. He says that “Once we realize we are not alone, we are free to run, and I hope everyone has that encouragement in their life. Sometimes getting out of the rut is as simple as taking one step. When you don’t know where to begin, begin anywhere.”

Even the smallest victories are still victories. I feel like that’s a proverb or something, but how would I know?
