Love is eternal, so prepare to love aespa’s new single “Forever”… literally for that long!

aespa made their debut in November with “Black Mamba,” which led them to take the crown for the first rookie group of 2020 to have a debut music video surpass the 100 million view mark. It also broke the record for the most viewed debut K-Pop music video within the first 24 hours.

We’re living in a digital age, and aespa’s concept embraces it fully! The name aespa was created by combining æ, which symbolizes “Avatar X Experience,” as well as the English word “aspect.”

With today’s release of “Forever (약속),” aespa is providing a reimagined take on Yoo Young-jin’s “Forever.” The medium tempo ballad is filled with lyrics that promise eternal love – something we all long for in one form or another. Yoo Young-jin himself arranged the track, which is drenched in sweet acoustic melodies. It’s a totally different vibe than “Black Mamba,” but “Forever (약속)” shows off aespa’s versatility early on. And of course, we absolutely love to see it.
