Yoshi Flower Makes A Grand Return With ‘Faking Sleep’

A wild Yoshi Flower has appeared yet again, and his new single “Faking Sleep” is very effective!

After two years, Yoshi Flower is back with a new original single, “Faking Sleep.” It’s no secret that the past year has brought on a whirlwind of emotions, so Yoshi wants to use this as an opportunity to let everyone know how he’s been doing. He says “Faking Sleep” is all about “reconciling this past year and trying to fall asleep every night with this gas leak of global context seeping into our everyday lives. You just have to go on with things and be optimistic where you can while being a good person.”

The visual companion to “Faking Sleep” was directed by Josh Flores, and helps capture some of Yoshi’s emotions as he sings. It’s pretty cool, and we’ll all be going crazy to this one once live shows resume.

As an extra boost, Yoshi also released a cover of “Boys Don’t Cry” by The Cure. It’s the perfect song for living out all of your digital daydreams.
