Nick Isham has been working on tons of new music throughout the pandemic, and he’s ready to share two more songs with you!
Last month, the LA-based indie singer/songwriter released “Burned Out” and “Just Do It.” It was hard to get enough of both, and Nick is giving everyone two more irresistible songs to feast on until he does it all over again. (Are you picking up on a pattern yet? Wink wink!)
First up, there’s “Where Are You Now,” which was written by Nick alongside his two dear friends Zack Grossman and Sam Rhythm over FaceTime.
“I was very single at the time and just telling them about how I always wonder where ‘my person’ is,” Nick recalls. “What is she doing right now? Is she looking for me too? All those questions were swirling around in my head. And this song came out of it!”
Nick’s second offering of the month is “In The Jungle,” is meant to help motivate you to keep chasing your dreams. He says, “I was in my first writing session with my co-writer Emily who had just moved to LA to pursue her dream in the music industry. I was sitting on the floor of her studio apartment looking at her moving boxes that said ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ on them as she told me her story of moving to LA and what she was going through to try and make it in this big city. The song then basically wrote itself from there. It’s for all the people who’ve always been told no, the fighters, the non-stop workers, the dreamers.”
For some reason, “In The Jungle” feels like it would also double as a great campfire song. It’s a great tune to cozy up to, but of course you can do that wherever you’re at – even at home in your concrete jungle. Listen below!
