You know what I mean by “meh.” Underwhelmed. Under-stimulated. Uninspired. I can go on and on. When it happens, we either wait for the feeling to pass, or we work through it. With whichever approach you choose to take, Angelina Jordan’s new single “7th Heaven” is bound to help turn things around!
The 15-year-old artist from Los Angeles has been on a mission to empower the world with her music, and it has been quite effective. As a child, Angelina appeared on Norway’s Got Talent, showcasing her one-of-a-kind vocals. After winning the competition, she continued to work on music, and made her Republic Records debut in November 2020 with “Million Miles.” The music video is rapidly approaching the million views mark, and Angelina is ready to give us another serving of food for our souls.
“7th Heaven” is totally capable of making someone stand up straight and walk around with their head held high. It’s just one of those songs, if you know what I mean! It’s vibrant, cinematic, but most importantly, empowering. “7th Heaven” was produced by Stargate, and written by Angelina herself. She says, “Life has ups and downs, and you always have to be ready for whatever is coming up. The song is a reminder to look at everything in a positive light and not get down on yourself. Most importantly—no matter what you’re doing—don’t give up. It’s also meant to make you dance.”
