To the window, to the wall, to the… parking lot at Whole Foods? Yes, definitely! Wherever you’re at currently, it’s time to groove to Hannah Hausman’s new single “whole foods parking lot.”
Hannah Hausman has had a lifelong dream of being able to share her music with the world, and nothing has stopped her from pursuing that. Although she faced various hardships along the way, she managed to keep her spirits high and keep pushing! When recovering from a sports injury in college, she picked up the guitar and decided to start singing the poems she had written. After catching a virus that caused her to lose her voice, Hannah picked up a pen and paper, quickly piling up a treasure chest full of songs to record later on. She’s resilient, and her sound reflects it all.
Unexpectedly running into someone you used to know is so awkward, and can be really uncomfortable. (Personally, I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone… because we ain’t got time for that!) It happened to Hannah, and it was a challenge for her to process. She admitted, “I felt like I was just getting over everything and then seeing my ex sent me spiraling backwards.”
However, Hannah managed to turn the sour experience into something sweet! As soon as she got home, she started playing the piano, and ended up writing “whole foods parking lot.” It helped Hannah pinpoint the emotions she felt in the moment, and ultimately find a sense of closure. It also helped her let out those last words she wishes she could’ve told her ex!
Back in January, Hannah made her Quadio Records debut with “will i ever feel like this again?” Now that “whole foods parking lot” is out, Hannah is ready to remind you of your worth once again. Initially, Hannah had zero plans to releasing the song. But after heading over to TikTok and being met with an overwhelming amount of support, she decided to make things official.
And boy, am I glad it’s here! Listen to “whole foods parking lot” below.
