“Down” is a song for those who can’t help but catch feelings for someone quickly, and aren’t afraid to show it either. It’s a bold personality trait to have, but wear it like a badge of honor!
The track was produced by Kyle and Michael Trewartha, also known as the multi-platinum, GRAMMY nominated dj/producer duo Grey. These two have worked alongside some of the biggest names in music, including Zedd for “Starving” and “The Middle.” “Down” marks Grey’s very first time collaborating with a K-Pop act, and the two certainly helped showcase A.C.E’s charismatic energy in the form of music.
In the days leading up to this release, playful teaser clips representing members Jun, Donghun, Byeongkwan and Chan were posted on A.C.E’s YouTube channel. The music video is a little cheeky, very light-hearted, and has an all-around youthful concept that I absolutely love. It’s the kind of energy one can’t help but want to bring more and more of into their life!
