If you truly needed an excuse to dance in the kitchen, Zachary Knowles’ new single is a great one.
Zachary Knowles has been cranking out plenty of swoon-worthy tunes lately, such as “carpool” and “johnny & june,” both landing on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist. As a kid growing up in Texas, Zachary started his musical journey by playing a light-up keyboard gifted to him by his parents in first grade. He eventually started writing his own material, uploading it onto SoundCloud, and receiving positive reactions from thousands of listeners worldwide. Official releases followed with Zachary was in college, and he’s been rocking and rolling ever since!
No matter the mood, Zachary hopes his listeners will build a special connection with his music. With his new single “dancing in the kitchen,” Zachary wanted to remind everyone that great memories can be made anywhere. Yes, even in the kitchen! He mentioned, “Honestly I just wanted to write a really happy song with this one. Usually, my songs have sad undertones, so I felt like it was time to write one that was just happy and felt good all the way through. When I’m doing the dishes I always blare music and dance, so I wanted to share that feeling with others and give them something we could both dance to.”
