Gabrielle Current Looks Back With New Single “If I Fall”

Gabrielle Current is out here trying to spread love through her music, so we should all spread our love for that music too! The Neo-Soul/R&B newcomer from LA just dropped her new single “If I Fall,” a chance to look back upon the fleeting feel of euphoria in a relationship and the independence gained after taking a few steps back.

(Normalize doing that, by the way. It can be very healthy!)

Gabrielle spent her childhood taking vocal and piano lessons, and even attending a performing arts school. She’s been releasing her own music independently since 2016, and has collaborated with artists such as Felix Cartal, Kaskade, and many more. Gabrielle also earned a huge thumbs up from FINNEAS, and makes frequent appearances on Spotify’s New Music Friday.

If you truly love to see it, you’ll also love knowing that Gabrielle is getting ready to drop her debut EP Virgo on May 27. “If I Fall” is her third single from the project, which will also include previous singles “Plenty” and “Down The Line.”

Gabrielle mentioned that “If I Fall” is all about “falling in and out of love with someone then losing communication and contact with them. By reminiscing about the end of the relationship, I learned more about myself and the person who left me. I found it interesting how time away from that person brought a new perspective and closeness to the relationship we once had.”

I fell in love with “If I Fall” upon first listen, as well as Gabrielle’s ultra-refreshing sound. Something tells me you will too, so get listening below!
